Normally, we refer them to this frequently asked questions page where we think we have pretty much covered everything there is to know about this type of mobile phone contract.

If you feel we have not covered a question that you might have, make sure you contact us and not only will we answer it, we will get it into our FAQ as soon as possible.

Bad credit mobile phone contracts… what are they exactly?

A bad credit mobile phone contract can be taken out by anyone but they are definitely aimed at people suffering with a bad credit rating in mind. Ordinarily, this group would not be able to get a regular mobile phone contract because of their poor credit record. With a bad credit mobile phone contract however, there credit rating, even a negative one, is of no consequence when they apply.

What are the application requirements?

They are very simple really. You need to be a citizen of the United Kingdom as well as over the age of 18. Please note, if you are not a citizen of the UK, do not bother applying as by law we are unable to give you a contract. Once you have become a full citizen you may then apply. We ask for proof of identity on each and every application to strictly enforce this.

What do I need to provide to you when I apply?

Well other than your identity document as mentioned above, there are a host of other documents that we need to process your application for a bad credit mobile phone contract. These include some document that will prove where you stay, three months of your latest payslips from your employer and three months bank statements from the account into which your salary is paid. Make sure you bring these documents the first time you come and see us to speed up your application process considerably.

Payslips? So I need to be employed?

Yes, you do need some form of income if you want to take out a bad credit mobile phone contract. You could be self-employed or have a casual job, such as a waiter for example. We just need to know that you receive a regular income and that you will be able to handle the monthly instalments for the contract that you eventually choose.

So what phones can I choose from?

We have a range of handsets on offer and we are sure that we will have something for your specific needs. In fact, we have even received stock of the latest offering from Apple, the iPhone 7. Of course, not everyone is eligible for a phone such as this as they can be quite costly per month. It will all depend on your income and expenses. Other handsets include older, refurbished smartphones, such as the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the Apple iPhone 5s as well as an extensive range of budget smartphones that we believe most customers should look at. Not only are they capable of performing all the tasks you need or expect from them but they are a very cost effective option.

How do I make my monthly payments?

We have found the best way to handle monthly instalments is to set up a debit order on your bank account. In this way, you cannot forget to pay as everything is done automatically between the financial institutions involved.

What happens if there is no money in my account?

We do not suggest that you miss a monthly payment. Why? Well, ultimately this will affect your already bad credit rating, something you do not want. If you cannot make a payment, let us know and we can try and make a plan for your unique situation.

Remember, if you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
